I have no idea what to do with the fruits of our Calamansi tree. I have given these fruits away to my friends and my neighbour. Still, we have more than enough and if I don't do anything, the fruits will just be destroyed in the cold weather.
BTW, Calamansi is a tropical citrus tree and produces fruit with zesty lime flavor. It is used to flavour cooking dishes and drink mixes. I use it in my ice tea too.
Thank goodness to Google, I found out that you could make marmalade from the calamansi fruits...It was a trial and error experience for me... my hard work was rewarded, the recipe turned out wonderful. The marmalade has a sweet and tangy flavor to it...and of course things always taste better when you make them yourself
