Destructive wildfires has not slowed down in the state of Texas. In Bastrop county, 476 homes and 25,000 acres were destroyed. Close to Houston, fire in Magnolia burned 20 homes and 1, 600 acres. In Katy, several acres are also burned. The drought and lack of rain fueled this devastation. There are many more wildfires going on to this day...I've seen homeowners on TV losing everything, their homes and pets..it is heartbreaking.
On the way home yesterday, I passed by a stretch of grassland near us that was burned a few days ago. Please be careful everyone!
I fervently pray for the people that lost their homes and livelihood.
